The age of invention began in the mid-1800s (also known as mid 19th century) It was an era that humanity began to witness the coming up of many inventions that changed the way which people lived, worked and made human life better.  

Examples of such inventions were the Typewriter (1867), Telephone (1876), Escalator (1859), Dynamite (1866) Electricity (1888), Moving Pictures (1877) Pasteurization (1856) among other life-changing inventions.

He didn't want to fight so he let Patroclus in disguise lead his army. Patroclus made a mistake however since he didn't just return as he said he would after the defense of the beaches but rather he pushed towards the gates where he died because of this and when his armor was removed everyone saw that it wasn't Achilles.
