Answer:

The movement of ions or molecules from an area of higher concentration to lower concentration is known as diffusion. It may or may not take place through a semipermeable membrane. It does not require energy for the movement of molecules.

A kind of passive transport in which the molecules or ions passes through the semipermeable membrane with the help of permeases located in the membrane. Like simple diffusion, it also does not require energy for the movement of ions or molecules.

The movement of water from lower concentration to higher concentration via a semipermeable membrane is known as osmosis.

Hello fellow seventh grader, Similarities: 1.Both move from a region of high concentration to a region of low concentration through a partially permeable membrane. Differences: Facilitated diffusion is for any small particles which can pass through a partially permeable membrane while osmosis is only for water molecules.

The question is incomplete as it does not have the options which have been provided in the attached file.

Explanation:

1. Dura mater: the dura mater is the most superficial layer which is characterized by the folds. The dura mater forms the walls between the hemisphere of the brain that is between right and left halves of the cerebellum. The structure present in the dura mater is tentorium cerebelli and super sagittal sinus.

2. Pia mater: the deepest layer present which is adhered to the tissues of the brain. The cortical gyri blood vesicle are superficial to the pia mater.

3. Arachnoid mater: the middle layer which is characterised by transparent and gelatin-like appearance.

Identify an organism that is present in your local ecosystem, and discuss two limiting factors that may affect this organism.
Verdich [7]
Limiting factors of an ecosystem include disease, severe climate and weather changes, predator-prey relationships, commercial development, environmental pollution and more. An excess or depletion of any one of these limiting factors can degrade and even destroy a habitat.

The response "You seem concerned that your partner will reject you" is too specific; the nurse does not have enough information to come to this conclusion. The response "You are wondering about the effect on your sexual relations" is too specific; the nurse does not have enough information to come to this conclusion. The response "You are probably underestimating your partner's love for you" denies the client's concern and may cause feelings of guilt for questioning the partner's love.</span>
