I believe the correct term to fill in the blank would be rumination. Trey is engaging in a practice of rumination. It is a deep or focused thinking of one that has undergone distress. It is analogous with depression and anxiety. When one is ruminating, he keeps thinking of a certain thought repetitively without thinking of any solutions to that problem.

Explain who can be a victim of abuse and how to prevent it.
alukav5142 [94]

Those who have been victims of abuse are the ones who live in a very toxic environment.  Many of these victims have been hurt emotionally psychologically and physically.  They become withdrawn and frightened as a result of their experience.  Some become violent and inflict that violence on others.  To prevent this is to remove people from such an environment.  Other ways can be through counseling as well as any activity that will help them build confidence and trust.

Lynnea believes that the C she earned on her first math exam was caused by her failure to study and that, if she works hard, she
grigory [225]

Answer:

The correct answer to fill in the blank in the question: Lynnea believes in the ____ theoery of intelligence, the answer would be: the incremental theory of intelligence.

Explanation:

Both the Incremental, and the Entity theories of perceived intelligence were born from the research carried out by Carol Dweck and her collagues in 1985. In this research, experts found that intelligence can come from what a person perceives are her, or his, abilities, and thus, his/her capacities to confront a situation. In the case of Lynnea, given that she does not necessarily perceive herself as an overachievier, or a genius, but rather, understands that all she needs is hard work, and more studying, then she is applying the theory of incremental intelligence, which means, she builds and achieves her goals with hard work and step-by-step.
