Explain the relationship between Jim Crow Laws and the court case "Plessy Vs Ferguson"

History

Jim Crow Laws enforced segregation between black and white people. The court case "Plessy Vs Ferguson" was trying to please people by enforcing the "separate but equal" law. Basically, they wanted to make the two races separate, but they thought it would be fine as long as both places were the same in quality and quantity.

To sum it up, Jim Crow Laws were to separate the two, but black people were given schools that weren't as good, trashy bathrooms, etc. It was also made to make sure that black people could not go some places on certain days, or at all. The "Plessy vs Ferguson" case was to try to make it better by separating the races, but having both bathrooms the same and both schools the same so none is better than the other.

Why did the founders settle on the electoral college system for selection of the President of the United States? Could they have
nadya68 [22]

Answer:

The electoral college system was the best solution they chose to democratically elect a president in a way that was both consistent with republican values and with the protections of rights of smaller states.

Explanation:

The Constitution and the new laws in the United States were revolutionary and pioneering by the end of the 18th century. The Founding Fathers could not look at a previous democratic model to find inspiration, because autocracy was the system of government anywhere else. One of the great dilemmas of democracy is how to avoid the tyranny of majorities over minorities. Could they have thought of a better system then? Maybe it was possible in theory, but it was very hard in practice. Besides, the population of the fomer colonies wasn´t as large as it´s today, and there were only 13 states, not 50. They could hardly have envision some outcomes we´ve seen in recent years when some candidates have won the popular vote, but have failed to win key states and electoral votes. They chose what they saw as the best option.

Impacts of Islam, Impacts of Buddhism, Impacts of Hinduism (including examples of syncretism). Anyone?
sweet [91]
Islam quickly spread throughout the Arab Peninsula into the Middle East and across North Africa. Likewise, Islam spread peace, unity, equality, and increased literacy rates. Islam directly influenced society and altered the course of development in history and in today 's contemporary world.

Promotion of social equality and social justice helped Buddhism to cross the frontiers of Indian sub-continent and became a world religion. In the field of education Buddhism tried to make education practical, action oriented and geared towards social welfare.

During the Maurya and Gupta empires, the Indian culture and way of life were deeply influenced by Hinduism. Hinduism reinforced a strict social hierarchy called a caste system that made it nearly impossible for people to move outside of their social station.

Sidana [21]

Answer:

first to the definition, spontaneous generation states that living things rise from non-living things. This experiment disprove the theory because when the beaker of meat was left open, flies came and left their eggs on it. And the one with closed beaker couldn't have those eggs. So that's how it's disproved
