POSITIVE With the use of social media, teenagers become more aware of what is happening around them. Not only that, they can voice out their opinions as well. NEGATIVE While teenagers were able to voice out their opinions on social media, it also have a negative side. Most of the teenagers just post irrelevant comments about a certain topic. Which sentences in this excerpt from Ernest Hemingway's "In Another Country" show that medals and awards in war don’t always bri
Arisa [49]

D) I was afraid but I was never really one of them after they had read the citation because it had been different with them and they had done very different things to get their medals.

This answer best shows that medals and awards don't always bring soldiers glory and acceptance. He says that he never felt like one of the others because they "had done very different things to get their medals". In this case he is saying that he doesn't always feel as though his medal brings him glory and acceptance.

Juliette [100K]
A rhetorical question is C. a question asked solely to produce an effect rather than a reply.

In other words, a rhetorical question isn't supposed to be answered, it's just supposed to give the listener/reader a specific feeling.

What is writing style? the way a writer puts words together, and the words he or she uses the way that a writer organizes the id
juin [17]

Answer:

Writing style is the way the author puts the story together, and the vocabulary he/she uses.

Explanation:

Some authors will purposely write grammatically incorrectly, as it is their writing style. Some authors may repeat themselves. Some authors may organize the story to be slow at the beginning, but then have an immediate climax.

All writing styles are different, as they are the preference of the author themselves, and how they want the story to be perceived.

I hope this helps!
