Benjamin Franklin was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. He was an author, printer, political theorist, scientist, inventor, statesman and diplomat. Among his inventions are the lightining rod, bifocals, and the Franklin stove. He was also a newspaper editor and printer. He published the <em>Pennsylvania Gazette</em> and <em>Poor Richard's Almanac.</em> He was also associated with the <em>Pennsylvania Chronicle</em>.
