Well to begin with the USA is a Democratic Republic not a Democracy. But to answer your question, the answer cannot be A considering we are not the only ones in the world to fight for freedom. The answer isn't going to be D considering people still look to the US as a figure for how they should form their government. C seems a little bold, but B could be correct. I would say the answer is B because even though we were ruled by the King of England(shuddering here) we did have our own forms of government up until the stamp act and stuff, hence the revolution and the subsequint forming of the US of A.
