Hello. I would say the answer is agree, because people will always disagree and try to gain control over one another. That desire for control will always result in wars to come out on top. Until we all meet a mutual agreement, war will never cease. Hope that helps!

In the context of Malala's Yousafzai life and speech, what does it mean to be brave? cite evidence from the text in your answer
ICE Princess25 [194]

To be brave means to continue to fight for what you believe and pursue your dreams in the face of opposition, trials and even threats to life.

For example, In Malala's speech, she said, "Dear Friends, on the 9th of October 2012, the Taliban shot me on the left side of my forehead. They shot my friends too. They thought that the bullets would silence us. But they failed. And then, out of that silence came, thousands of voices. The terrorists thought that they would change our aims and stop our ambitions but nothing changed in my life except this: Weakness, fear and hopelessness died. Strength, power and courage was born.  I am the same Malala. My ambitions are the same. My hopes are the same. My dreams are the same."

This means that she has dedicated her life to preaching peace, education, human right and equality, not minding her own insecurity or whatever persecution she faces for what she believes. This is her definition of bravery, boldness and courage.

Wittaler [7]

This question is missing the options. I've found the complete question online. It is the following:

Dr. Dowell says that we need to be prepared for a pandemic. He thinks every nation should have an emergency  plan. More medications like Tamiflu should be available. He thinks rich countries like the U.S. should help poor  countries pay for medicine and health care.

Why does the author most likely include this information at the end of the text instead of at the beginning?

A. because it draws a conclusion based on the evidence presented throughout the text

B. because it offers new evidence that is meant to help readers better understand the text

C. because it poses new questions for readers to think about now that they have read the text

D. because it offers supplemental information that readers can compare to evidence presented in the text

Answer:

The author includes this information at the end of the text:

A. because it draws a conclusion based on the evidence presented throughout the text .

Explanation:

After discussing and presenting evidence throughout the text, author John DiConsiglio is now ready to conclude it. What he presents at the end cannot be new evidence or supplemental information, for that would not be a conclusion at all. He is also not presenting questions - he is making statements. Those statements are based on the information presented previously, supported by it. What the author wants now is to show how important that information was and how we can use it to be prepared for future cases of the disease.
