Which sentence demonstrates no flaws in logic? A) People who oppose this requirement don’t understand that if we don’t start mak

ing service-hours a requirement that in the future, charities will run out of volunteers and stop serving those in need—possibly resulting in a rise in our nation’s crime rate! B) I would also ask people who oppose a service-hour requirement for graduation to realize that doing service hours also increases a student’s GPA over time! C) It is vital that we keep this from happening by making students learn to serve others now while they are still young and impressionable. The answer is not B at all because i just did it and it was wrong, the correct answer is C because that's the only answer that isn't a flaw.

B) I would also ask people who oppose a service-hour requirement for graduation to realize that doing service hours also increases a student’s GPA over time!

This is not a flaw in logic, because the number of service hours actually does improve the student's GPA, so it's just a fact.

In-s [12.5K]

Answer:

1. How does this story reveal the themes of 'personal expression' and 'capitalizing on strengths?

The story reveals the theme, "personal expression" when Helen finds her strengths and she put her heart to enhance them. It also reveals the theme," capitalizing on strengths", when the author enjoys and gets motivation on the things she wanted.

2. What is the generational conflict that exists between Helen Michaelson and her parents? Explain using examples from the text.

The conflict is about the misguidance on the career path of Helen where her parents pushed her to do things that lead to demotivation.

My Musical Career is about a woman who is finding her strengths or talents and enhancing them. However, the parent overly pushed her to make a progress in it that results in demotivation.

As Janice quietly thumbed through the newspaper: Deeter prepared a hearty breakfast: the dog eagerly consumed the scraps of
inn [45]

Hi. Even though you showed a text, you didn't show any questions about that text. However, when researching this text on the internet, I was able to find a question, which asked that the errors presented in this text be pointed out.

In this case, we can conclude that all punctuation that the text presents is incorrect.

The correct thing would be that between the words "newspaper" and "Deeter" there was a comma, since this clause presents a continuity of thought. Also, between the words "breakfast" and "the," there should be a period, as the word "breakfast" ends one of the narrators' thoughts and the word "the," starts another thought. In addition, the word "the" must be written with the capital letter "T", since every word, after a period, must start with a capital letter.

Finally, after the word "floor" a period should be placed, as this word ends a thought.

What kind of sentences are these,DEC for declarative, INT for interrogative, IMP for imperative, or EXC for exclamatory.
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer: 1,2 - DEC. 3,5 - IMP, 4 - INT.

Explanation:

Declarative sentence means to declare something. It is just a simple sentence stating something. The below statements are an examples of declarative sentence.

• If you listen carefully, you can hear many night sounds other than insects.

• I am not sure I can finish War and Peace in only three weeks.

Imperative sentences are those which gives an order, makes a suggestion, or requests for something. The following sentence, ‘Look out for those dogs’ is an example of imperative sentence. The sentence ‘Mahmoud, please list every message that comes in’ is also an imperative sentence because here ‘please’ indicates request.

Interrogative sentences are the ones which asks for an information or question. In the sentence ‘Why aren’t you applying for more scholarships?’ a question is being asked.
