Answer: the height is 3x^2 + 5x + 4

Step-by-step explanation:

The expression for the area of the rectangle is given as

3x^3 - x^2 - 6x - 8

The length of the base is represented by x - 2

Height = Are/base

= 3x^3 - x^2 - 6x - 8/x - 2

We would determine the height by using the long division method. The working is shown in the attached photo

What is the difference between theoretical and experimental probability?
IRINA_888 [86]
Theoretical probability is  what you would expect  the result of an experiment would be. For example if you tossed a fair coin 10 times the theoretical result would be 5 heads and 5 tails, because  probabilty of 1 toss is 1/2 for tailand 11/2 for a head.

I practice however we might get , say, 6 heads and 4 tails
So experimental probability of e head would be 6/10 and of a tail would be 4/10.

The measures of the angles of a triangle are shown in the figure below. Solve for x.
zavuch27 [327]
X=27 because all the angles inside a triangle add up to 180°. So you take 180 and subtract 63 and 90 from the to find out the last/missing angle.
