A. overall productivity increases. This is because B and C are both negative things anf the question asks for positive things, and D doesnt make sense since the employees are working more since they are managing work flow, not the managers

MP = 7.45% − (3.40% + 3.85%)

MP=7.45%-7.25%

MP=0.20%

Therefore the maturity risk premium on the 6-year Treasury security is 0.20%

An auditor ordinarily sends a standard confirmation request to all banks with which the entity has done business during the year
Virty [35]

Answer:

A. seek information about loans from the banks.

Explanation:

A loan can be defined as an amount of money that is being borrowed from a lender and it is expected to be paid back at an agreed date with interest.

Generally, the financial institution such as a bank lending out the sum of money usually requires that borrower provides a collateral which would be taken over in the event that the borrower defaults (fails) in the repayment of the loan.

An auditor refers to an authorized individual who review, examine and verify the authenticity and accuracy of business financial records or transactions.

An auditor ordinarily sends a standard confirmation request to all banks with which the entity it is auditing has done business during the year under audit, regardless of the year-end balance. One purpose of this procedure is to seek information about loans from the banks so as to examine and verify the amount that was loaned by the bank to the business entity, as well as comparing the figures (values) to that on the balance sheet.

stich3 [128]

1. $3,700

2. $8,000 and $6,400

3. $5,120

The computation of the depreciation expense for the years are shown below:

1) Straight-line method:

= (Original cost - residual value) ÷ (useful life)

= ($40,000 - $3,000) ÷ (10 years)

= ($37,000) ÷ (10 years)

= $3,700

In this method, the depreciation is same for all the remaining useful life

So for year 2019 and 2020 the same depreciation expense i.e $3,700 is charged separately for each year

(2) Double-declining balance method:

First we have to find the depreciation rate which is given below:

= One ÷ useful life

= 1 ÷ 10

= 10%

Now the rate is double So, 20%

In year 2019, the original cost is 40,000, so the depreciation is $8,000 after applying the 20% depreciation rate

And, in year 2020, the depreciation is

= ($40,000 - $8,000) × 20%

= $6,400

3) For 2021, it would be

= ($40,000 - $8,000 - $6,400) × 20%

= $5,120

Basically we applied the above formulas
