There is very large debate going on about whether or not astrology should be considered a science.  It should not be confused with astronomy: astronomy is the scientific study of the cosmos, but astrology is more philosophical.

Although there is great debate and no absolute answer has come out, for your purposes, the answer would be False.  Most people believe that astrology is NOT considered a science because they find the evidence behind it invalid.
