The answer is 23/93. We Multiply and use the second fraction's reciprocal which becomes 5/31 multiplied by 23/15. 15 and 5 are common factors and we simplify them which turns 5 into 1 and 15 to 3. 23 multiplied by 1 is 23 and 31 multiplied by 3 turns to 93. This equals our final answer 23/93

Suppose u1, u2, ..., un are independent random variables and for every i = 1, ..., n, ui has a uniform distribution over [0, 1].
sattari [20]
Z=U_{(1)}=\min\{U_1,\ldots,U_n\}

has CDF

F_Z(z)=1-(1-F_{U_i}(z))^n

where F_{U_i}(u_i) is the CDF of U_i. Since U_i are iid. with the standard uniform distribution, we have

F_{U_i}(u_i)=\begin{cases}0&\text{for }u_i

and so

F_Z(z)=1-(1-F_{U_i}(z))^n=\begin{cases}0&\text{for }z

Differentiate the CDF with respect to z to obtain the PDF:

f_Z(z)=\dfrac{\mathrm dF_Z(z)}{\mathrm dz}=\begin{cases}n(1-z)^{n-1}&\text{for }0

i.e. Z has a Beta distribution \beta(1,n).

What is the value of A when we rewrite... (PLZ HELP QUICK)
Marina86 [1]

Answer:

<h2>\frac{133}{8}</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

{( \frac{5}{2} )}^{x}  +  {( \frac{5}{2} )}^{x + 3}

=  {( \frac{5}{2}) }^{x}  +  {( \frac{5}{2}) }^{x}  \times  {( \frac{5}{2} )}^{3}

= ( \frac{5}{2} ) ^{x} (1 +  {( \frac{5}{2} )}^{3}

=  {( \frac{5}{2} )}^{x} (1 +  \frac{125}{8} )

=  {( \frac{5}{2} )}^{x} ( \frac{1 \times 8 + 125}{8} )

=  {( \frac{5}{2}) }^{x} ( \frac{8 + 125}{8} )

{( \frac{5}{2} )}^{x} ( \frac{133}{8} )

Comparing with A • {( \frac{5}{2}) }^{x}

A = \frac{133}{8}

Hope this helps...

Good luck on your assignment...

Help me plz really need to get this done
Montano1993 [528]
3.3
6 \frac{7}{8} = \frac{55}{8}

-1/8 - 55/8 = -56/8 = -7

3.4
(-4x7)/10 = -28/10  = -14/5

3.5
-19/2 ÷ 38/7  <=> -19/2 x 7/38 and simplify = -7/4
