Dove is automatically associated with peace and people who opposed the war(such as Edward Kennedy or Martin Luther King) were described as such whereas the hawks ( an aggressive animal) were those who thought the war was good.. </span>
Hitler's blunders contributed to the allied victory; ex, withholding the Panzer reserves away from local control of Rommel prior to the Normandy invasions.
