Answer:

Therefore the measure of this angle is =(\frac{43}{90} )^\circ

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, a circle is centered at the vertex of an angle  and the angle's rays subtend an arc that is 86 cm long.

0.5 cm arc make an angle \frac{1}{360}

1 cm arc make an angle \frac{1}{360\times 0.5}

86 cm arc make an angle \frac{86}{360\times 0.5}

                                         =(\frac{43}{90} )^\circ

Therefore the measure of this angle is =(\frac{43}{90} )^\circ

A country's population in 1990 was 46 million.
Elodia [21]

Answer:

  50 million

Step-by-step explanation:

You don't need to go to the trouble to find the value of k in e^(kt). Rather, you can use the given ratio directly.

When t = years after 1990, the population of 49 million took 12 years to achieve. The estimate desired is for 16 years after the year 1990. The appropriate exponential formula for the population is ...

  P = 46·(49/46)^(t/12)

Then for t=16, this is ...

  P = 46·(49/46)^(16/12) ≈ 50.04 . . . .  million

The population in 2006 is estimated at 50 million.

_____

The form of the exponential equation we used above is ...

  f(x) = (baseline value)·(ratio to baseline)^(x/(interval corresponding to ratio))

Archy [21]
They are vertical angles meaning they both have the same angle thus you can set the two equations equal to each other

9y+7 = 2y+28

Solve for y

Plug your y into one of the equations and you’ll get your angle

My brother needs help with his math homework and I don't understand this?need help.
Olin [163]
To answer the problems correctly, you have to follow and pay close attention to whether or not it says "Area" or "Perimeter". For example, for the first problem, area of 63 square units, you would have to create a shape thats sides multiply out to equal 63 units squared. He could draw a square with 9 units by 7 units. This would work because 9x7=63. For perimeter, all four sides must add up to equal 38 units. Feel free to get creative with the shape on this one! If you have any other questions, just ask. Hope I helped some. :)
