The only place Cheng Ho did not travel to was a) Hispaniola. ( Hispaniola is the Caribbean, and the Chinese did not get that far...)

The Jesuits were important because they started organizing missions worldwide in order to teach people about Catholicism and the pope and Christianity and similar things and were successful at it. The outcomes of the council were a series of declarations on how the church should behave.
