Answer: Because both are forced upon the said people.

Explanation:

In other words, Thomas Paine said this because taxation without representation was the people had so say in the British Government's decisions. This is the same for slavery, where the slaves were forced to work, without anyway to express their disagreement or pain. The taxation was forced on the colonists, and the brutal work of slavery was forced on the indentured servants+ African Americans.

The conflict is man vs self

In this passage, Claire is struggling against her own fears. She sees how beautiful and cool her brother's dive is, and wants to be able to do the same. Since it is an internal conflict, it is man vs self.

what principle does trillin use to divide and identify the four types of eaters? “The extendable fork”
stich3 [128]

Answer:

The Motifs of trilling on the four types of eaters is to illustrate and observe the foibles and quirks of the American culture. Therefore, it is because of these that Trillin uses most of his expertise in different divisions and classifications.

The confession of Trillin regarding the four types of people who eat from other people's plates undermines the categorization, this is because in real sense they are not different from other people but have different motives of engaging the behavior rule.
