how does the author support his claim that the triangle shirt waist factory fire was the incident that changed working condition

s in America
History
1 answer:
lord [1]3 years ago
3 0

Answer: After the fire broke out, this caused Americans to get scheduled breaks, limited work day hours, and also created the foundation of rules and regulations for when fires took place such as preventing boarded windows, creating quick and exits, incase there was another fire. These regulations went out to all places. This made safer working conditions for all of the workers.

Explanation: I’m not sure what the author says. I know that the elevators weren’t working, stairs led to doors that were locked, the windows were boarded up because women were taking smoking breaks on the clock, and many other fire hazards were on the way. This made it impossible for many women to escape and many tried to survive by throwing themselves out of windows once they broke through, but this didn’t save their lives.

the city's are the Sparta and the Athens. Compare the social pyramids of both city-states to one another.
777dan777 [17]

Answer:

Sparta was not quite the same as Athens in pretty much every manner, starting with its government. While Athens was a majority rule system, Sparta was a theocracy. In a government, the decision power is in the possession of a couple of individuals. Sparta's administration-just as Spartan culture-was committed to military strength. One of the primary ways they were comparative was in their type of government. Both Athens and Sparta had to get together, whose individuals were chosen by the people. Sparta was managed by two lords, who controlled until they passed on or were constrained out of office. Athens was controlled by archons, who were chosen yearly.

The size of the united states doubled as a result of the louisiana purchase in 1803. This purchase included land that eventually
Svetlanka [38]

Answer:

The question is incomplete bit I believe the question is taking about the Louisiana purchase in 1803 by United States from France which doubled the size of the United States as at that time.

Explanation:

The Louisiana Purchase of 180 made the United States a territory of about 828,000 square miles from France, and hence doubling the size of the young republic.

What as at that time was known as the Louisiana Territory spread from the Mississippi River in the east to the Rocky Mountains in the west and from the Gulf of Mexico in the south to the Canadian border in the north.

Part of or all of the 15 states were ultimately created from this land deal, which is considered one of the most important achievements of Thomas Jefferson’s presidency.

I hope this helps to solve that the question is and gives more insight to what Louisiana Purchase of 1803 was all about.

Dividing political power between a central authority and other units, like the states in the United States, is the main concept
galben [10]
Dividing political power between a central authority and other units, like the states in the United States, is the main concept of "federalism," since this allows for states to exercise a certain amount of autonomy while still allowing the federal government to control the most important issues facing the nation.
