Biology

For the first question, it is B since xylem does not have living cells and instead have dead cells unlike phloem. The other answers are correct since it carries and transports water and dissolved minerals and has thick cell walls with a hallow lumen.

For the second question, I am not exactly sure but it might be A since it promotes cell division and mitosis is a type of cell division. You might wanna double check that one, though.

Hope I've helped. :)

When the body senses a state of hypoperfusion, the sympathetic nervous system releases epinephrine, the effects of which?
lutik1710 [3]
Heart rate is controlled by the two branches of the autonomic (involuntary) nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system (SNS) and the parasympathetic nervous system (PNS). The sympathetic nervous system (SNS) releases the hormones (catecholamines - epinephrine and norepinephrine) to accelerate the heart rate. The parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) releases the hormone acetylcholine to slow the heart rate. Such factors as stress, caffeine, and excitement may temporarily accelerate your heart rate, while meditating or taking slow, deep breaths may help to slow your heart rate.

<span>Climax community=when the ecosystem reaches its mature state. After every disturbance, the ecological succession will culminate in the climax community. For example, ecological succession triggered by fires in Yellowstone Park culminates in pine forests. Pioneer species are the first species to colonize an area after a disturbance occurs. Which organ is matched incorrectly with either its sympathetic or parasympathetic ganglion? eye - ciliary ganglion urinary bladd
omeli [17]

Answer:

Urinary bladder - superior mesenteric ganglion

Explanation:

The inferior mesenteric ganglion is located in the center of the abdomen where the inferior mesenteric artery begins. The axons of postganglionic neurons extend through the hypogastric plexus. These neurons then innervate the blood vessels of several organs like the rectum, urinary bladder, and distal colon, etc.

The postganglionic neurons from superior mesenteric ganglion innervate the blood vessels of the small intestine and proximal colon.
