Answer:

His parents grew up in a country where it was warm and tropical.

His parents' childhoods were carefree.

Explanation:

In the poem "Mum, Dad, and Me", the poet James Berry compare and contrast the lives of his parents with his own. The two ways in which the life of the child in the poem is different from his parents' childhoods are:

 • His parents grew up in a country where it was warm and tropical while he grew up in a place where it was cold, pale and misty.
 • The poet says that his parents' childhoods were carefree. During childhood, his dad always played outside and rode a donkey whereas the poet is stuck on his phone now. And during his mother's childhood, she would talk and shout near the hills or walked on foot everywhere whereas the poet would take a bus or train now.

What does this passage most clearly convey about Lady Bracknell? She believes strongly in the importance of rules. She is thrill
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Hello. You forgot the text to which this question refers. The text is:

Lady bracknell. [with a shiver, crossing to the sofa and sitting down.] i do not know whether there is anything peculiarly exciting in the air of this particular part of hertfordshire, but the number of engagements that go on seems to me considerably above the proper average that statistics have laid down for our guidance. i think some preliminary inquiry on my part would not be out of place. –the importance of being earnest, oscar wilde

Answer:

She believes strongly in the importance of rules.

Explanation:

In the text above we can see that Lady Bracknell is a very methodical person who likes everything to happen in a controlled way, always respecting the rules that were stipulated for them. This can be confirmed at the moment when she complains that the occurrence of events in the city is higher than what was shown by the statistics, which serve as a rule, to guide people.
