You would distribute the -6 on one side and the 7 on the other.
- 6x + 24 < 14x - 21
Then you would move the 24 to the other side, by subtracting.
- 6x < 14x - 45
Then you would move 14x to the other side by subtracting
- 20x < - 45
Then divide by -20 to get x by itself. You would have to flip the sign, since you divided by a negative.
x > 2.25

Wat is the solution showing work to y= 6x y= 5x+7
svlad2 [7]
From what I recall, just set both the equations equal to each other

6x=5x+7

6x=5x+7
-5x -5x

1x=7

x=7

Then just plug in what you found.

y=6(7)
y=42

y=5(7)+7
y=35+7
y=42

42=42

Thus, you know your answer is correct.

In the diagram below, BC−→− bisects ∠FBE
nirvana33 [79]

Answer:

m∠EBC = 34°

Step-by-step explanation:

m∠DBC = m∠DBE + m∠ EBC

m∠DBC - m∠DBE = m∠EBC

(12x - 3)° - (5x + 12)° = (3x + 13)°

12x - 5x - 3 - 12 = 3x + 13

4x = 28

x = 7

m∠EBC = (3(7) + 13)° = 34°

Answer:

47/100

Step-by-step explanation:

First you have to make the denominators equal.

4/10 * 10/10 = 40/100

40/100 + 7/100 = 47/100

Solve for n:
3⁄5 · n = 6
garik1379 [7]

Answer:

n = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

Solve for n:

(3 n)/5 = 6

Multiply both sides of (3 n)/5 = 6 by 5/3:

(5×3 n)/(3×5) = 5/3×6

5/3×3/5 = (5×3)/(3×5):

(5×3)/(3×5) n = 5/3×6

5/3×6 = (5×6)/3:

(5×3 n)/(3×5) = (5×6)/3

(5×3 n)/(3×5) = (3×5)/(3×5)×n = n:

n = (5×6)/3

6/3 = (3×2)/3 = 2:

n = 5×2

5×2 = 10:

Answer: n = 10
