A. Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle sought greater understanding through challenging unexamined traditional thought.

As phillisophers that thewy were they always tried to question everything that sorrounded them, this way tried to achieve a better more profound understanding of things. Aristotle was the last of the three, and profuondly beleived that the man was made to be happy and that that was the goal in our lifes. He was also the tutor of Alexander the great.
