The new president is a president that has not been involved in any government or military. our hope is that since Trump is inexperienced he'll understand our problems better and help us more than a person that was brought up through the government

Mass media, such as the television, allowed the politicians' messages to reach a wider number of people at once. Video and audio recording allowed for better and more in-depth fact-checking, which could benefit or damage campaigns. Alternative methods of voting allowed many people previously disenfranchised to express their opinion and participate in democracy.
