Why does Daisy hope her child will be a beautiful fool? She was trying to imply that the life of a woman is a happier one in ignorance. If her daughter is a "fool" then she will never have to suffer the harsh realities of the real world. Think of the old saying " Ignorance is bliss".
Hey! Sorry I couldn't make it to the party. Ive had a lot of homework lately. I would have came last night anyway but my dad said that if I didn't finish it that night,I was going to be grounded for 2 weeks. I tried to protest and tell him it was only homework but he told me that he was the parent and to listen. Parents can be so uncool sometimes. Still though even if I was allowed I don't think my mom would approve of that late of a party.
Yeah I am going to the trip. I cant wait to watch movies the whole day! I hope they'll let us watch that new movie that came out last week! Hopefully we can try to sit next to the 9th graders! I can barely wait!
