Hey there!

First, let’s turn all the fractions to decimals:

Week 1: 1 1/8 = 1.125

Week 2: -2 5/8 = -2.625*

Week 3: 1 3/4 = 1.75

Week 4: -1 1/2 = -1.5

Week 5: 2 1/8 = 2.125*

I starred the ones with the most value (-2.625 & 2.125)

Now, we just subtract:

2 1/8 - (-2 5/8) = 2.125 - (-2.625)

Therefore, the answer is, 19/4 or 4.75

Hope this helps you!

God bless ❤️

Brainliest would be appreciated!

If a rational number after dot "like 5.52") is smaller than 5(half) , then you assume the first number before that dot stuff :p
For example:

-》11,2 =11
-》 4.19= 4
-》2,2 = 2
etc

But if it's bigger than 5 or equals 5 , u assume the first number before that dot stuff +1
For example :
-》5.5 =6
-》3.9=4
-》225.7= 226
etcetc

so the answer is:;;

5.52 --》 52 is bigger than a half (50) so ur gonna assume like 6

1,6 --》(it equals with 1.60 too)
6 is bigger than 5 so ur gonna assume 2

6÷2 =3

Hope it helps! :))

You use a garden hose to fill a wading pool. If the water level rises 16 centimeters every 7 minutes
Sergeeva-Olga [200]
Rise=16, run=7. Slope is rise/run, and therefore is 16/7. The run is considered to be the x coordinate. Since the x coordinate on the point is 21, we know it has moved 3 exact points away from the origin (21/7=3). We can use this movement of 3 exact points to determine the y coordinate as well. Since the rise (y) is 16 for every exact point on a graph, we know the graph has risen 48 units (16x3=48). So, the point ends up being (21,48). The rate of change is 16cm per 7 minutes, or 2.28cm/minute. The equation is Y=(16/7)X (no y intercept because the graph starts at the origin). The equation gives you the y value of 48 when x is equal to 21.

Use the limit theorem and the properties of limits to find the limit.<br> Picture provided below
sashaice [31]

Answer:

b. 1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

lim        (x -3)(x +2)

x-->-∞    ---------------

              2x^2 + x +1

= lim        (x^2 -3x +2x - 6)

x-->-∞    -----------------------

              2x^2 + x +1

= lim        (x^2 -x - 6)

x-->-∞    -----------------------

              2x^2 + x +1

When we plug in x = -∞, we get indeterminate form.

Now we have to use the L'hospital rule.

d/dx (x^2 - x - 6) = 2x -1

d/dx (2x^2 + x + 1) = 4x + 1

Now apply the limit

lim            (2x - 1) / (4x + 1)

x--->-∞

Here we have to degree of the numerator and the denominator of the same. In this case, if x --> -∞, we get the result as the coefficient of the leading term as the result.

According to the rule, we get

= 2/4

Which can simplified as 1/2

The answer is 1/2

Hope this will helpful.

Thank you.
