Answer:

Hi! This would be A)feature detectors

Explanation:

Feature detectors sort outside stimuli into separate "filing boxes" in your brain, as well as any experiences related to it. Attacked by a dog? that goes in the dog "Box." This is very much like the stereotypes we see in everyday life.

Hope this helps you or anyone that might need help!

Where do you see cultural diversity in your everyday life?

please write 50-100 words
amid [387]

Answer:

We could quite safely state that in our society everybody

deals on a daily basis with people from different origins

and cultures. In our neighborhoods, places of work

and study, and even in our families, there are people

who come from different continents, who speak

different languages, practice their own customs and

profess different religions.

At the same time, we share and interact in the same

environment which has many common values and norms,

and we all act similarly in everyday events –like going to

school or work, going for a walk, playing sports, shopping

at the supermarket or watching television–.

Cultural diversity contains great potential for

educational and personal development as it allows

for mutual enrichment, thanks to those factors

that differentiate us –languages, customs, historic

memories, beliefs, etc.–. This mutual enrichment is

often made possible due to those factors that unit us

–common values and norms of coexistence in everyday

situations–.

We live in a plural society where cultural diversity exists

and is manifest on many levels: the autochthonous

population is diverse and the immigrant population is

made up of many sociologically and culturally different

groups. Although common aspects are shared, there

is also diversity within these groups as no person is

exactly the same as another. This diversity is manifest

in many different cultural expressions which form part

of human heritage

Explanation:

Hope this helps :-)

Explain the difference in Jocasta's death in "Oedipus Rex" between the
alekssr [168]

According to the Roman version, Jocasta killed herself by committing sui-cide through hanging.

What is Oedipus Rex?

Oedipus the King is also referred to by its Greek title, Oedipus Tyrannus, and its Latin title, Oedipus Rex. Also, it is an Athenian tragedy that was written by the ancient Greek playwright "Sophocles" and it was first performed around 429 BC.

Oedipus Rex was centered around the king of Thebes who killed his father (Laius) unwittingly and then went ahead to married his mother (Jocasta), after solving the riddle of the Sphinx.

According to the Roman version, Jocasta killed herself by committing sui-cide through hanging, due to the incest between herself and her Oedipus.

Conversely, from the Greek version written by Euripides, he posited that Jocasta killed herself by committing sui-cide after her sons killed themselves in a fierce fight for the crown.

A high school track coach is interested in finding out if carbohydrate consumption helps increase running times in her athletes.
Usimov [2.4K]

Answer:

"If athletes consume carbohydrates, their running times will increase"

Independent variable: whether the athletes eat carbohydrates

Dependent variable: running times

Experimental group: the group that eats the pasta dinner

Control group: the group that eats the steak dinner with no carbohydrates

The purpose of using random assignment is to make sure that there are no selection factors that might affect the group. For example, if she asked the boys to eat one food and the girls to eat another, that wouldn't be random, and would introduce the sex of the athletes as a possible confounding variable.

Explanation:

(note that this is kind of a weird question: why would you want to *increase* running times?)
