In more simple terms, genocide is an action which occurs with a willing intention to slaughter completely a religious group or a community of people on the basis of their ethnicity, religion or nationality. The international community believes that they should not interfere in the internal conflicts of a nation due to this reason Genocides are taking place in the modern world. However, in extreme conditions, the U.N can announce the imprisonment of the perpetrators, the U.N can give a judgment to condemn the actions of genocide also it can send peacemaking missions in the region.
