In the aftermath of the Women's Suffrage Movement, women's economic roles increased in society. Since there was more educational opportunities for women it led more and more women to sense their potential for meaningful professional careers.
One major way in which <span>industrialization affected the way people lived in the United States was that it increased the standard of living for many--since many more people were able to find employment in factories--which raised their income substantially. </span>
So all the power isnt in one persons hands, and because if checks and balances werent here one person would hold all the power which would be bad :)
