Commutative is where you are able to move around the numbers to make it easier to add, subtract, divide, or multiply. Associative is where you can put parenthesis around any numbers and add, subtract, ect.

I the median is a number that’s always suppose to be used on a dot plot because the median always ask for all kind of numbers to be put in a dot plot and the mean has a bit less number and their odd ;)
