<span>In 2010, scientists did a </span>reanalysis of the old Apollo seismic data and looked into the moon quakes (earthquakes on the moon) and discovered  the Moon has an iron core with a radius of 330 ± 20 km. The same reanalysis gave evidence that  the inner core of the moon was solid and was made of iron that has the radius of 240 ± 10 km. The core is surrounded by the somewhat melted layer of the lower mantle with a radius of <span>480 ± 20 km. </span>The temperature inside the core has been estimated to be about 1600 to1700 K. (In other words 2420.33 to 2600.33 F)

I would guess A. If you think of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere they trap heat in. that is what causes global warming.
