Answer: The old shirt was like a wearable scrapbook, reminding him of days gone by.

The key word here is 'like'. Similes use words such as 'like' and 'as' to compare something to another. The use of the word like in this answer choice is a red flag for a simile, as he is, again, using the word 'like' to compare the old shirt to a wearable scrapbook.

nadezda [96]
That is very good. But maybe you can add that the first poem is in a softer but still strong tone whereas the second one is more firm and aggressive, commanding people to be strong. But I think that the poem doesn't tell you to fight death, but to be strong and not give up even against the biggest of things, like the sun going to dusk. But is was very well written.

Answer:

incorrect pronoun: you

Explanation:

Find the incorrect pronoun and type it correctly.

People with positive attitudes tend to be more successful in life because you are more likely

to focus on solutions rather than problems.

Since we are talking about people in this sentence, they is the correct pronoun to use. It's third person and plural.

Positive parenting can begin when the child is how old?
IRINA_888 [86]
From the outset really "Positive parenting" describes a whole set of attitudes to the parenting process. The earlier parents consider using the model or approach the more likely it is to be successful. Even when the child is not able to actually verbally express themselves, their parents can still display a positive attitude towards them.

Explain how a word can be a morphemic noun and a syntactic adverb in the same sentence.
Ivan

A morphemic noun, person, place, thing, or idea, is a noun that can have suffix added to make it into an adverb word, which is a word used to describe a verb. In the case of the word "Man," you can use "Man" as a noun, for example "The man sat down." If you add "-ly" to the end, you get "manly", an adverb. "The boy had sang manly."
