ANSWER:

The need for more fertile land would have driven members of Bantu from West Africa to the east and south of the continent.

EXPLANATION:

 • The initial homeland of Bantu people is eastern part of the Western Africa. Due to population growth, need for food increased.
 • Bantu started to migrate to the places having vast cultivable and grazing lands.
 • The 'Bantu migration' was directed towards the southern and eastern region where most of the 'Savannas' are located.
 • The savannas had fertile land for agriculture, enough pasture for livestock and animals for hunting if needed. This was right environment for Bantu to migrate.

Mercury in a box have density is 30000kg/m^3 height is 20 dm. Determine the pressure of Mercury .
Musya8 [376]

Answer:The pressure of Mercury = 588,600Pa

Explanation:

The pressure of Mercury is given as

p=h x ρ x g

Where h =height= 20 dm

changing to meters

10 decimeters (dm) =1 meter

20dm =2 meter, 2m

ρ is the density =30000-kg/m³

g , gravity = 9.81-m/s²

Pressure = 2.0m x 30000-kg/m³ x 9.81-m/s²

588,600 kg.m/ s²/m² =588,600 N/m²

The pressure of Mercury=588,600Pa
