The behavior shown by Booker is called negative reinforcement.

Further Explanation:

A method that is used to rectify certain behaviors is called negative reinforcement. In such a method, an unpleasant or uncomfortable thing or behavioral issue is removed in response to a stimulus. With time, the resulting behavior increases the expectation of the person towards the stimuli as the unpleasant thing is taken away. As a result, through negative reinforcement, strengthening of behavior is achieved by removing, avoiding, or stopping a negative impact.

An aversive stimulus or suppressive behavior makes a person avoid it as it creates discomfort. Such behaviors negatively reinforced as they allow a person to completely avoid such stimuli as soon as they happen. This implies that a person takes precautionary actions in order to avoid or stop negative results the moment it occurs or even before it. For example, taking an antacid after having a spicy meal to avoid discomfort is negative reinforcement.

Before behavior: eating spicy food results in stomach ache or acidity.

Behavior: a person takes an antacid.

After behavior: no more acidity.

Future behavior: a person takes antacid every time he/she eats spicy food.

Here, after taking a painkiller due to the headache, the booker feels relieved. This displays negative reinforcement as something unpleasant such as headache has been taken away through the painkiller. In the future, at times of headache, Booker will definitely take the painkiller as a result of increased expectations due to the previous behavioural result.

The correct answer is positively reinforced.

The positive reinforcement in an operant conditioning incorporates the supplementation of a reinforcing stimulus following a behavior, which makes it more probable that the behavior will take place again in the coming time.

When a favorable reward, outcome, or an incident takes place after an action, then that specific behavior or response will get strengthened.

What are two ways translation is regulated?
Korolek [52]

Answer:

through changes in the availability or activity of the "helper"

Explanation:

This process involves many "helper" proteins, which make sure the ribosome is correctly positioned. Translation can be regulated globally (for every mRNA in the cell) proteins.

Some objects in space are created from clouds of gas and dust. What will happen if the cloud does not have enough mass?
Westkost [7]

Some objects in space are created from clouds of gas and dust. A star forms when the mass of the dust cloud is large and has enough hydrogen to start creating a protostar and sustain the nuclear fusion reaction within the core of the protostar. If the dust cloud is not dense enough, then the star formation does not take place, rather a nebula is formed, example the Horse-head nebula. So the answer is (B) A star will not form.
