A converging lens focuses the diverging, or blurred, light rays from a distant object by refracting (bending) the rays twice. ... This double bending causes the rays to converge at a focal point behind the lens so that a sharper image can be seen or photographed.
(Thus making the vision clear)

leonid [27]

The answer is; cell surface receptors that are recognized as antigens by the recipient's immune system.

Therefore the organ is attacked as a foreign substance . This is why organ transplants are given by the closest family member to reduce the antigen variability that causes transplant rejection.  Tissue typing is done to ensure that the organ or tissue is as similar as possible to the tissues of the recipient.

Scientists often want to know if the genetically transformed organism can pass its new traits on to its offspring and future gen
Orlov [11]

Answer:

Quickly

Explanation:

The more quickly that a new generation of organisms develops and reproduces the faster that you will be able to observe whether the new traits  have been passed on to the new generation or not, and so on if you want to see this effect over several generations. For example, if you have genetically modified corn, you just have to wait one year to see if next year's generation of corn will have the modified trait or not. Conversely, if you geneticall modify an apple, you have to wait several years until the new generation of apples mature and are able to flower and produce the next generation of apple embryos.
