Considering that a hydrophilic stain was used to stain the skin, explain why the fat vacuoles in adipocytes are white (Hint: Rem
vazorg [7]

Answer:

The hydrophilic nature of the stain explains that these molecules are polar and charge molecules. therefore, attracts the water molecule but due to their polar nature, it will avoid lipid or fat molecules.

Adipocytes are the cells that are made up of fat or lipids that are hydrophobic due to their non-polar nature and due to this fact, these hydrophilic stains will not be able to stain adipocytes and will not be colored by the stain.

Studies have been conducted on synthetic products, including DDT and estrogen. The use of these
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

The debate over the use of GM foods started ever since the production of the first GM foods. Supporters of the GM foods tell that the GM foods have been thoroughly tested and approved by the FDA and in the long term they will be the best strategy to overcome malnutrition as the population is rising rapidly. Critics of the GM foods explain the threat that these foods can lead to the natural varieties to become extinct, As a result, there would be no variations among crops which could be a concerning and threatening situation. Also, they are concerned that it might happen that over the long term GM foods might be harmful.

Genetic medicines although properly tested may show differential results when used on people or may give rise to certain other conditions which the humans are unfamiliar for now.

How do the data represented on the population bar graph compare to the data
Oksana_A [137]

It should be noted that the graphs illustrated how different PH affect the population of the species.

What is PH?

It should be noted that pH simply means the measure of how acidic or basic water is. It can be deduced that the range of the pH is from 0 - 14.

From the complete question, the graphs illustrated how different PH affect the population of the species. When the pH is either too low or too high, the aquatic organisms living in it will die.

explain how it helps in increasing the shelf life of fruits and vegetables based on membrane transport
motikmotik

Answer: There are two categories of cross membrane transport, active and passive. While active transport requires energy, passive transport relies on concentration differences inside and outside of the membrane. With films that cover the outermost membrane of the fruit (the skin), this concentration gradient can be removed or slowed so membrane transport is also slowed and as a result, the fruit stays fresh longer. A good analogy for this is considering evaporation in an open jar on a hot day versus if there was a lid on the jar. Both jars would be in the same conditions, but the jar with the lid would retain more water.

Explanation: have a great day:)
