Q1.  Look at the picture.

C.\\y=-\dfrac{1}{3}x+3\\\\y=2x-4

Q2. Look at the picture.

A.\ 4-t

Q3.

Put the value of x = 2 to the equation 3x + y = 5:

3(2)+y=5

6+y=5       <em>subtract 6 from both sides</em>

y=-1\\\\F.\ -1

Q4.

\left\{\begin{array}{ccc}n=3m-11&(*)\\2m+3n=0&(**)\end{array}\right

Substitute (*) to (**):

2m+3(3m-11)=0            <em>use distributive property</em>

2m+(3)(3m)+(3)(-11)=0

2m+9m-33=0       <em>add 33 to both sides</em>

11m=33      <em>divide both sides by 11</em>

m=3

Put the value of m to (*):

n=3(3)-11\\\\n=9-11\\\\n=-2

C. (3,\ -2)

Q5.

w - width

3w - length

24 in - the sum of length and width

The equation:

w+3w=24

4w=24           <em>divide both sides by 4</em>

w=6\ in

3w=3(6)=18\ in

J.\ 18\ inches

What does OD=<br> Pls answer
Elodia [21]

Answer:

OD = 9.375"

Step-by-step explanation:

We can draw a line from O to B to create a triangle.

Then, Triangle ODB and Triangle ACB are similar, so their corresponding side's ratio are similar as well.

Triangle ACB, we can use pythagorean theorem to figure out CB:

AC^2 + CB^2 = AB^2

15^2 + CB^2 = 17^2

225 + CB^2 = 289

CB^2 = 64

CB = 8

Now relating the corresponding sides, we can figure out OD:

\frac{OD}{DB}=\frac{AC}{CB}\\\frac{OD}{8-3}=\frac{15}{8}\\\frac{OD}{5}=\frac{15}{8}\\8OD=5*15\\OD=\frac{5*15}{8}\\OD=9.375

The oven tray is 600mm by 500mm. A cake tin is 25cm in diameter. How many cake tins can jenny fit on the oven tray at one time?
MAXImum [283]
We have to convert the measurements
the tray is 60 cm by 50 cm

if the cake tin is 25 cm in diameter, it will fit just 4 cakes because we have a length of 60 cm (will have 10 cm left over) and a width of 50 cm
hope it helps
