Further Explanation:-

The treaty of Versailles was known to be one of the most important peace treaties and which was behind bringing World War 1 to end. This treaty brought end to long-going war between Germany and Allied powers. The other central forces that were on the side of Germans signed different treaties. There were many provisions that were given in the treaty but one specific provision was that which required Germany to accept the responsibility for all the damages it cause in the war and this was under article 231 of this treaty which was known as War Guilt Clause.
