Obviously you will arrange your day so exercising is convenient because if it is not you wont be exercising. I wouldnt say visiting the gym has to be every day but it could be part of the plan maybe one day a week. Also picking an activity with a person when you are with someone helps motivate not only you but the person you are with to exercise. DO NOT pick intense workouts everyday. This is dangerous on your body. Plus this is a quick way to get burnt out and quit exercising. This also tells the mind i cant keep doing daily exercising because of fatigue.
If you plan to exercise every day you must arrange your day so that exercising is convenient. this is very important, because if not, the exercise will make you only additional stress during the day. You must find the best time during the day in order to benefit from the physical activity, to be relaxed and enjoy it. This way you will achieve your goals.
Try to incorporate all of these at the same time. I think that would be a good mix for all of your students. It also depends on what age your students are. If they are younger they may not be able to understand things that are too hard, so don't be too hard on them either.
