The points on a scatterplot increase rapidly. You run a linear regression the data.The residual plot shows a pattern, and r^2 is

low. Which of these methods would likely result in a better model.of.the data?
A.) linearize the data by taking the log of a response variable, and then run a linear regression
B.) run a quadratic regression on the data and then linearized the data
C.) linearize the data by taking the log of the response variable, and then run an exponential regression
D.) linearize the data by taking the logs of both variables, and then run a linear regression.

If you could plz help it would be greatly appreciated. Questions in picture :)
Pavel [41]

Notice that 8 can be written in exponential form of 2^{3}

When you see (2^{3} )^{\frac{8}{3} } , recognize that  (a^{m} )^{n} =a^{mn}

3 × \frac{8}3} = 8

Hence, the answer is 2^{8} . Which means 256.

Here is some indices rules/formulas you might find helpful as well:

a^{m} * a^{n} =a^{m+n} \\\\  a^{m} /a^{n} =a^{m-n} \\\\ (a^{m} )^{n} =a^{mn} \\\\ a^{-m} =\frac{1}{a^{m} }

Can you answer the question for me
ArbitrLikvidat [17]
I cannot see the entire problem, but based on what I can see, vertical angles are involved. Just know that vertical angles are always equal. An example would be that 1 and 3 are vertical.
Looking at the problem, the sum of angle 1 and angle 3 is 314. Since angle 1 and angle 3 are equal, angle 1 and angle 3 are both equal to 157.  If the question is asking you to solve for angle 4 or 2, then you would use supplementary angles. 180-157 is 23, so the measure or angles 2 and 4 is 23. If the question if something other than what I mentioned, let me know and I will answer that, but I hope what I have helped!
