A war between citizens of the same
country that takes place within the country is indeed known to be civil war.
The usual objective of one side is to be able to take control of the country or
a particular region in the state.
It was the forced removal by the British of the Acadian people from the present day Canadian Maritime provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and the present day US state Maine — parts of an area historically known as Acadia, causing the deaths of thousands of people.
