Answer and Explanation:

According to a report, one of the  main reason for heavily polluted China's coastline is industrial waste, mainly plastic waste dumped in ocean making China the third largest plastic waste producer contributing to contamination of ocean water.

According to a survey of 2014, about 81% of China's coastline is polluted with main pollutants- fertilizers constituents like inorganic nitrogen, phosphate, oil spills and chemical waste from industries which resulted in the most powerful environmental disaster (earthquake and Tsunami on March 11, 2011).

The remedial action taken by the government to limit the pollution is by taking few preventive measures as follows:

1) Limiting the use of plastic bags, almost banning them.

2) Disposition, recycle and reuse of industrial and plastic waste

3) To restrict dumping of chemicals in water bodies or atleast reduce it.

4) Monitoring of changes in the chemical property of water and the overall impact on environment and ecosystem.
