Answer:

The power to respond to aggression in Vietnam with full force.

Explanation:

The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution was passed on August 7th, 1964 by the US Congress following two attacks on two US Navy destroyers that were on the coast of Vietnam. What did john adams mean when he said the revolution was in the minds of the people?
Len [333]
The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people; a change in their religious sentiments of their duties and obligations. While the king, and all in authority under him, were believed to govern in justice and mercy, according to the laws and constitution derived to them from the God of nature and transmitted to them by their ancestors, they thought themselves bound to pray for the king and queen and all the royal family, and all in authority under them, as ministers ordained of God for their good; but when they saw those powers renouncing all the principles of authority, and bent upon the destruction of all the securities of their lives, liberties, and properties, they thought it their duty to pray for the continental congress and all the thirteen State congresses, &c.

What are some characteristics that demonstrate
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Answer:

Eastern parts were richer and more populated, while western part had a symbolic value (Rome). All in all, western half collapsed quickly and doesn't have great impact on history. Eastern half is the Byzantine empire, which had a great impact on eastern Europe, it basically "created" Bulgarian, Serbian and Russian empires (of which only Russian managed to survive long enough to become a world force) and (Byzantine ) had a great influence on Ottoman empire.

hope this helps ;)
