After Oedipus being abandoned by his own biological parents. He returns to
his hometown Land of Thebes to look for his parents. However, he is very upset
and commands that he will murder them both for leaving him as a young child.
Oedipus has this anger and distraught towards his parents after he found out
that they left him. Oedipus finds his father and says to him "Why did you leave
me! Why did you leave me?" and starts stabbing his father immediately with a
sword. He then dies and Oedipus is in search for his mother afterwards. He finds
Jocasta which is his mother and repeats the same line "Why did you leave me! Why
did you leave me?" Jacosta in shock not being able to recognized her own son
and says "Reveal yourself to me!" Oedipus then tells her that she is his mother,
and Jacosta breaks down in tears and says that it was not her plan to leave him
it was his father's plan. Oedipus feels her pain and decides not to kill her
and they both get together and live happily ever after as a family.
