The integumentary system is the answer. It consists of the skin , hair, nails, glands and nerves.

Its main function is to act as a barrier from the elements of the outside world which include disease causing agents and harmful UV rays from the sun.

It also functions to retain body fluids, eliminate waste products and regulate body temperature.

The integumentary system works with all the other systems of the body to maintain internal conditions of the body needed for proper functioning.

Discuss the possible fonction of plasma membrane of pseudomonas

Alex787 [66]

Answer:

Distinctive characteristics of the cell membrane in the Pseudomonas genus:

- low outer membrane permeability

- protein channels for the uptake of nutrients

- porin proteins with cell adhesion and signaling functions

Explanation:

The plasma membrane is a lipid bilayer that separates the cytoplasm of the prokaryotic cell from the external environment. The cell membrane is selectively permeable in order to regulate the transport of substances (nutrients and cell waste products). Pseudomonas is a genus of Gram-negative bacteria that have a thin peptidoglycan layer and an outer membrane. In Pseudomonas species, the cell membrane contains porin proteins involved in the uptake of nutrients, such as, for example, OprB, OprB2 (glucose), OprG (phosphate) and OprH (pyrophosphate). Moreover, the cell membrane of these bacteria has low outer permeability, which confers a high resistance to antibiotics.

The area of the ocean that experiences the lowest density water occurs in the ________.
damaskus [11]
The lower density water occurs in the deep zone of the ocean.

This region of water is cold and stable. Cold water has a higher density as the water molecules are packed more closely together, so they occupy less volume. The difference in density of the regions of ocean is responsible for convection currents.

Make a prediction as to how an earthquake could affect a species ability to survive and reproduce? Justify your response in two
vagabundo [1.1K]
Lets make a scenario. There is a species of monkey that reproduce in trees, and earthquake rattles the trees causing most of the trees to fall down. They can not reproduce now unless they do so out the trees. Birds for instance may have this problem. Same thing for animals that may live in trees. They can no longer do so.
