You just have to square each number to get the y so if 1^2 the answer would be 1 cause your multiplying by the number your squaring two times

Help!! Is there any way I could calculate this on a graphing calculator or do I have to do it by hand?
alina1380 [7]

Answer:

you can graph the points. i recommend using Desmos

Step-by-step explanation:

As for the line of best fit you can use snaggit or snipping tool and both can help with the graph.

for the residual, you need to calculate the actual value minus the predicted value.

you should be given a formula in your problem.... that is for the predicted value.

Hope this helps!!

Help me with the answer please
PSYCHO15rus [73]
Y=10 because on the left X has to equal 30 in order for the angle to be 90 degrees. After that you take the X which is 30 and put it in the equation (2X+3Y) Now the line is a line which means that the angle containing (2X+3Y) must equal 90 like this (2X+3Y)=90 So plug in X [2(30)+3Y]=90 60+3Y=90 subtract the 60 and you get 3Y=30 divide 30 by 3 and you get Y=10 Hope this helped
