The answer is A) (4, -7).

You wanna substitute the choices in the problem.

y = 2x - 15

4x + 3y = -5

-7 = 2(4) -15

-7 = 8 -15

8 - 15 = -7

-7 = -7

4(4) + 3(-7) = -5

16 + -21 = -5

16 + -21 = -5

-5 = -5

So (4, -7) is a solution to the equations.

Hope this Helps!!

A. (4, -7) Is the correct answer!

2 x 4 = 8    8 - 15 = -7   True!

4 x 4 = 16    3 x -7 = -21     16 + -21 = -5    True!

Since both statements are true, this is the solution to the system.

I think by 1-5 you mean 1/5??

1/5 = 0.20 = 20%

50% + 20% = 70%

100-70 = 30

so 30% were sponge cakes

Mr. Wong predicted that he would sell 45 automobiles. He actually sold 48 automobiles. What are the values of a and b in the tab
iVinArrow [24]

Answer:

a = 3.45

b = 6.67%

Step-by-step explanation:

Initial prediction of sales = 45 automobile

Actual amount sold = 48 automobiles

Absolute error ratio a = actual amount sold - initial prediction/initial prediction

Absolute error ratio a = 48-45/45

Absolute error ratio a = 3/45

%error = actual amount sold - initial prediction/initial prediction * 100%

% absolute error = 48-45/45 * 100

% absolute error = 3/45 * 100

% absolute error b = 6.67%

elizabeth buys a circular rug with a lace border. the lace is 12.56 feet long what is the diameter of the rug
vfiekz [6]
We know that the lace is also what we would call the circumference of the circle.

And we also know that the circumference of a circle is represented by the equation: c= \pi d.

We then can use the length of the lace (12.56 ft) to solve for the diameter (d) of the rug. Let us solve for that now:

12.56=(3.14)d

d=4

We now know that the diameter of the rug is 4 ft.
