Answer:

Option A

Explanation:

In the process of generating hydroelectricity , following process takes place

a) Water is retained through dam and is stored at high elevations

b) Water is then allowed to fall from great heights. In this process the potential energy  (attained due to storage of water at great heights) is transformed into another energy form i.e kinetic energy

c) In the next stage, kinetic energy of water is used to rotate the turbine blade.

d) The turbine is connected to the motor which is placed between two magnets.

e) As the rotor rotates between the two magnets, electricity is generated.

Hence, option A is correct

Compare and contrast the function and structure of a compound light micrscope and electron micscrope
galben [10]
The major difference between a light microscope and a electron microscope would be that with the light microscope, a beam of light is used to focus the image. In an electron microscope, a beam of electrons is used to focus the image. Other notable differences would be with the light microscope, your specimens must be very thin; thin enough for light to pass through them. With the EM, you can place whole specimens that can generate 3D images. There is a much more complex specimen preparation process for the EM, where light microscope slide making is fairly simple in comparison. You can view live and wet specimens with a light microscope but you cannot with the EM because an EM requires specimens to be placed in a vacuum chamber. Lastly, the EM is very large and complex to operate, where the light microscope is somewhat portable. Hope this helps!

How are these two process linked by ATP and NADH?
denpristay [2]

Answer/Explanation:

The light-dependent reactions use light energy to make two molecules needed for the next stage of photosynthesis.  the energy storage molecule ATP and the reduced electron carrier NADPH. The ATP and NADPH from the light-dependent reactions are used to make sugars in the next stage of photosynthesis, the Calvin cycle.
