Answer:

3. consume more plant foods like legumes, vegetables, and fruit

5. engage in regular physical activity

Explanation:

Dietary choices can decrease or increase the risk for heart diseases. Plant based food like vegetables, fruits and legumes are very good for avoiding heart disease. They are rich source of antioxidants which prevent plaque buildup in arteries. They are also very low in saturated fat which is one of the major risk factors for heart disease. They are rich in fiber which improves overall digestion and helps to keep blood cholesterol level low.

Regular physical activity is also good for heart as it makes the muscles stronger. Stronger muscles means that the heart can pump blood more efficiently and does not need to work extra hard to do so. This in turn also keeps the blood pressure in check.

High concentrations of homocysteine in the blood are associated with the development of
lora16 [44]

High homocysteine levels in the blood can damage the lining of the arteries. High levels may also make the blood clot more easily than it should. This can increase the risk of blood vessel blockages. A clot inside your blood vessel is called a thrombus. A thrombus can travel in the bloodstream. From there, it can get stuck in your:

Lungs (called a pulmonary embolism).

Brain (which can cause a stroke).

Heart (which can cause a heart attack).
