President Nixon either fired or asked John Dean, John Ehrlichman, E. Howard Hunt, H.R. Haldeman, and Fred Thompson to resign so as to keep himself away from the controversy of Watergate Scandal.

Further Explanations:

Richard Millhouse Nixon was chosen as the President of the “United States” in the years 1969 and he continued himself to the post till 1974. He was the 37th President and is renowned as the only President in the antiquity of the nation to have resigned from the post before the commencement of his tenure. He is also credited for instituting of EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) on 9th July in the years 1970. The agency was recognized for protecting the environment from getting degraded.

how could analyzing political themes help you connect the modern united states to earlier civilization
Alexxx [7]

The politics of America has changed widely from 1854 today while in 1854 there for two parties the Whigs and the Democratic. The democratic were in favor of slavery while the Whigs differed in this case. Because of which it collapse to form a new party called the Republican. Abraham Lincoln was the first President of this party and was successful in establishment of slavery.

After Lincoln's death Republican Party still went on to see if the slaves got their rights. with time it Businessman and wealthy people got more involved with party for power. Hence by 1920 this party becomes more of business party Until the economic crash in 1929 After which Franklin Roosevelt and other democrats come into power.

From 1989 to 2011 there was a very great Hispanic immigration taking place and democrats supported realizing these immigrants throughout. And today Republican formed trust in the resentment of this. this is how from ancient politics modern politics got connected .
