The Quartering Act

Explanation:

The Quartering Act allowed British soldiers in the 13 colonies to stay in colonists' houses. The colonists had to house and maintain the soldiers for as long as needed. This wasted many colonists' money. To add to that, the soldiers very often treated the colonists very poorly.
